Music of the CPLP
(Portuguese Speaking Countries Community)

This was a world music project produced by Marcelo Salazar. This CD is a compilation of music from the Portuguese speaking countries: Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and São Tome and Principe and East Timor. The CD contains 16 cuts by 16 musicians from 8 different countries. This project was sponsored by the Brazilian Foreign Relations Department with the aim of promoting the various musical styles and cultures of the Portuguese speaking world.

Projeto criado e produzido por Marcelo Salazar, esta coletânea reúne 16 artistas dos 8 países membros da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa, também conhecido pela sigla CPLP. São eles: Angola, Brasil, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe, Moçambique, Timor Leste.
Este Projeto foi patrocinado pelo Ministério das Relações Exteriores do Brasil, e teve como objetivo integrar os artistas desta comunidade e divulgar a música e a cultura destes países.
