Primitive Messanger (Visom Digital) – Marcelo Salasar’s third CD, which was recorded in Denmark and Brazil, was nominated as one of the best instrumental CDs in 1996 by the Sharp Brazilian Music Awards. Besides being the percussionist performer he also produced and arranged all the cuts. Some featured songs are “Mas que Nada” (real player compatible), composed by Jorge Benjor arranged with an Afro-Flamenco beat, Duke Ellington’s “Caravan”

got worked over with the rhythms of the Maracatu and Salazar’s “Primitive Message I” is heavy with percussive themes (real player compatible). This CD also features participation of renowned musicians like Paulo Moura, Rildo Hora, Mauro Senise, Torquato Mariano, Fernando Gama and Bucth Lacy.

Além de atuar como percussionista, ele também produziu e fez os arranjos deste cd, que foi parte gravado na Dinamarca e outra parte no Brasil.
